Nicolina Pappas is a freshman at Bettendorf High School in Bettendorf, Iowa, and resides in Rock Island, Illinois. Having been raised alongside six older siblings, she developed a strong sense of independence, discipline, and adaptability from an early age—qualities that continue to inform her character and ambitions. In addition to her leadership within her nonprofit organization, Nicolina upholds a 4.0 GPA and serves as the Vice President of her class.
Her extracurricular involvement is extensive and multifaceted. She participates in cheerleading for wrestling, basketball, and football; performs in two ensemble bands as well as the school’s concert and marching bands; and maintains active membership in numerous academic and service-oriented organizations, including Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), Conservation Club, Speech and Debate, Best Buddies, Musical Theater, French Club, and an all-girls Boy Scout troop. Nicolina’s breadth of engagement reflects her commitment to intellectual growth, artistic expression, and community leadership.
